Apple pie candy is sweet and simple to make. It’s great for a sweet treat on Christmas eve or on a long winter’s afternoon. Leave some for Santa. He’ll love it!
2 cups brown sugar
1 can condensed milk
1/2 cup butter
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla
Add all ingredients to a sauce pan and heat over medium heat. Stir constantly with a wooden spoon. Heat until the mixture reaches 290 degrees Fahrenheit on a candy thermometer.
Pour onto buttered cookie pan and tap the bottom of the pan on the counter to remove bubbles.
Place pan in the refrigerator to cool.
Break into bite size pieces and enjoy
