Raspberries are my favourite fruit. I use them in fruit salads, smoothies and these summer raspberry brownie squares. Something like a Blondie, these squares will become one of your favourite desserts.
1/2 cup melted butter
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups raspberries
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Beat together butter, sugar, and egg. Fold in raspberries.
Mix dry ingredients together in a separate bowl.
Fold wet ingredients into dry ingredients just until mixed.
Butter a 8 x 8 baking dish. Place brownie mixture evenly into dish and bake at 350 Fahrenheit degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
