Cinnamon Salsa

Salsa is a great alternative to ketchup or chili sauce.  For a twist this recipe uses cinnamon in the preparation.  Combined with the zesty chilies the spice adds a unique flavor.

Ornament Clay

2 cups flour

1/2 cup salt

3/4 cup water

Mix together and knead until you have a smooth consistency.  Roll out onto waxed paper and cut into desired shapes with cookie cutters.  Move to a baking tray.  Use a straw to poke a hole in the dough for a hanger.  Bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour and allow to cool.

Paint or spray paint ornaments and string with ribbon.  In this example some of the ornaments have been sprayed with chalk board paint so that names can be written on them with chalk.

When finished ornaments may be sprayed with a sealer.
