It’s not the mountains

I love when fresh cranberries appear in the store in the fall. The fruit reminds me of family get togethers where cranberries are traditionally served on the table.
I like to make this loaf for Christmas. The cranberries and the orange juice pares well together and provides a tart alternative to the sweet treats of the season.
2 cups flour
2 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup white sugar
3/4 cup orange juice
1 beaten egg
2 tbsp melted butter
1 cup whole cranberries
Mix wet ingredients into combined dry ingredients. Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 50 too 60 minutes.
