3 cups flourgingerbread

2 tsp ground ginger

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

Blend the above together.

Mix the below ingredients

1/2 cup softened butter

1/3 cup sugar

1/3 cup packed brown sugar

1 egg

1/2 cup molasses

1 tsp vanilla

Mix dry into wet.  Chill for at least an hour.  Roll on parchment paper and cut out shapes using a variety of cookie cutters.  Place on cookie sheets and bake at 350 degrees for 11-13 minutes.
