An excellent recipe for using up cooked turkey and gravy over the holidays. Creamy potatoes mix with sharp cheese and flavorful turkey in this pie.
Ingredients
2 cups chopped cooked turkey

1 cup sliced carrots
1 diced onion
1 cup sliced mushrooms
2 cups turkey or chicken gravy
1 tsp sage
2 cups mashed potatoes
1/4 cup grated cheddar
Mix sage and turkey gravy together. Add cooked turkey, carrots, onions and mushrooms. Turn into a glass pan. Top with mashed potatoes and cover with grated cheddar.
Cook in a 350 degree Fahrenheit oven for 2 hours or until carrots are cooked through. If the cheese gets too brown tent the pan with aluminum foil.
