Fruit Cobbler

This cobbler is made from peaches and plums.  It’s a wonderful ending to a light meal.

Ingredients

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

Plums can be used in place of the peaches.

5 tsp corn starch

4 cups sliced peaches

1 tsp ground cinnamon

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4 cups blueberries

2 cups flour

1/4 cup sugar

1 tbsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

1/2 cup melted butter

1 cup almond milk

1 tsp vanilla

In a pan combine peaches, cornstarch, and brown sugar.  Heat and stir until mixture thickens  Mix in blueberries and pour into a greased oven-safe pan.

Sift dry ingredients together until well combined. Add wet ingredients and mix just until batter comes together. Drop the batter by spoonfuls onto the berry mixture.  Bake in 375 degree

oven for 30 – 40 minutes.
