Tomato Apple Chutney


Sweet and tangy this mixture of apples and tomatoes is the perfect condiment for sandwiches.  Serve hot or cold.


3 cups cherry tomatoes

3 chopped apples with skins

1 chopped onion

1 chopped green pepper

Tomato Apple Chutney1/2 cup vinegar

1/4 cup molasses

1 tsp ginger

1 tsp salt

Add all ingredients into a pot and place on high heat on the stove until the mixture begins to boil.  Lower heat.  Cook until the tomato skins pop and simmer until thickened.  Remove from heat.

The mixture can be preserved with your favorite canning method.
