Homemade Dessert Pizza


Homemade Dessert PIzzaDessert pizza is becoming more and more popular.  This recipe for dessert pizza is easy to put together but the visual results are impressive.  This dessert is colorful and filled with fresh fruit and tasty vanilla pudding.  It’s sure to please family and friends.

CrustCookie Base

1/2 cup sugar

1 cup butter

3 egg yolks

1/2 tsp vanilla

2 1/2 cups flour

1 twp baking soda

1 tsp cream of tartar

1/4 tsp salt

Combine sugar, butter, egg yolks and vanilla until creamed.  Add the dry ingredients and blend well.  Transfer to a greased pizza tin or lined muffin tins.  The crust shuld not be very thick.  Prick with fork.  Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 12 to 15 minutes.  Cool

Pudding Top


1 vanilla pudding mix.

Prepare vanilla pudding as per instructions on the package.  Spoon onto cooled crust in a thin layer.

Fresh Berries


Cut up your favorite fruit into bite sized pieces.  Arrange artistically over the pizza crust or mini crusts.

Dessert PizzaTopping

1 cup water

1/2 cup sugar

2 tbsp cornstarch

1/2 package of orange gelatin mixture

Cook topping ingredients on the stove until shiny.  While still warm spoon over berries.  Transfer pizza or mini pizzas to the refrigerator.  Let cool for at least 4 hours and then serve.
