1/2 cup frozen wild blueberries
1 1/4 cup milk
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 cup sugar
bread of your choice
1/4 cup fresh blueberries
Mix eggs, wild blueberries, milk, lemon juice and sugar together until ingredients are well incorporated. Dunk bread into mixture until bread is well covered with liquid. Remove and place on a greased sheet pan and repeat until all of the egg mixture is used. Pour remaining blueberries on to the top of the bread. Chill in refrigerator overnight.
The next day bake the toast at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for about 25 minutes. Keep an eye on the oven to make sure you do not over cook the slices.
Remove from oven and plate. Top with fresh blueberries and maple syrup.
