This unusual combination of strawberries and ginger is addictive. Raspberries may be substituted for strawberries if desired.
2 cups sliced strawberries
1 mandarin orange – peeled and sliced
1 lemon – peeled and sliced
2 apples – peeled, cored and sliced
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp dried ginger
Gently mix ingredients together. Taste. If needed add a little more sugar.
Serve with cottage cheese or on cream cheese.
