Fruit bites are a sweet treat that can be served at lunch or for a mid morning snack.  Serve with tea or coffee.

IngredientsFruit Bites

1 cup dried dates

1/4 cup hot water

1 cup dried cranberries

1 cup dried apricots

1 cup sliced almonds

sesame seeds

In a food processor blend dates and hot water until a smooth paste is formed.  Add cranberries, apricots and almonds.  Blend until smooth.  Remove the paste from the food processor and place it in plastic wrap to form a log.

Fruit BitesChill log in freezer for at least an hour or until firm.

Remove log from freezer and unwrap.  The log will be sticky.  Cut thin slices from the log and roll in sesame seeds.  Chill until ready to serve
