Garlic and Chive Biscuits

Garlic and Chive Biscuits are fresh and fragrant.  Their great with soup, stews or as a treat on their own.

INGREDIENTS

2 cups flour

Garlic and Chive Biscuits21/2 tsp sugar

2 tsp baking powder

1 1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 cup coarsely chopped chives

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 cup vegan margarine

1/2 cup vanilla almond milk

2 tbsp lemon juice

DIRECTIONS

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, garlic, chives and baking soda in a pan until thoroughly incorporated.

Crumble in vegan margarine until mixture resembles crumbs.

Mix in almond milk and lemon juice.

Turn mixture into patties and place on a baking sheet with a silicone mat.

Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
