Layer this recipe in a clear bowl so that you can see the layers. The jam and gelatin powder can be adjusted to your favorite flavors.
1 box of French Vanilla cake mix
2 boxes raspberry jello powder
1 jar raspberry jam
1 can custard powder
1 tbsp sugar

This recipe takes more time than many of the icebox cookies but the results are worth the effort. The designs are pretty and the cookie is delicious. You’ll need an afternoon to bake these cookies so make an extra batch while you are baking and freeze any leftovers.
This applesauce is good with pork or on its own. Its adds a unique flavor to baking when substituted for eggs or oil. Replace 1 egg with 1/4 cup of applesauce or replace 1/4 of the oil in a recipe with applesauce.
8 cups chopped mixed apples
4 cups fresh cranberries
4 cups apple juice or apple cider
1 cup sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp allspice
Stir ingredients in a large pot over high heat just until mixture begins to boil. Turn down and simmer until thickened and apples begin to breakdown. Stir pot occasionally to prevent bottom from burning.
A light dessert that is filled with strawberry flavor. It’s great on hot summer days and the recipe is sure to please all members of the family.
1 cup sifted flour
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup melted butter
Stir ingredients together and bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes stirring occasionally to make crumble. Make sure the pan is shallow. Remove from oven and sprinkle in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Set aside.
2 egg whites
1 cup sugar
2 cups sliced strawberries
2 tbsp lemon juice
Combine in a large bowl and beat at high speed until stiff peaks appear. This will take about 10 minutes.
1 cup whipped whipping cream.
Fold in whipped cream to egg white mixture. Spoon over crumbs. Freeze for 6 hours and cut into squares. Trim with strawberries.
